Opacity (command)
Build

1158

Version

5.1

The opacity command causes an object to modify its opacity value.

Usage

opacity [value] [name=name] [global]

value

The value argument is a number value between 0.2 and 1.0, with 1.0 being opaque. Values exceeding this range are clamped.

name

As with most other commands, you may choose to specify the name of another object to apply the opacity action to by using the optional name parameter.

global

A command with the global argument appended will cause the object to change opacity globally for all users who have the object in view. Without the global parameter, the object will change its opacity exclusively for the person who activates the trigger (bump, activate, adone).

Examples

create opacity .67 name=abc

Creates an object named abc that changes its opacity to .67.
