Mayor

A Mayor is the term used to describe the leader of a community in Public Building Worlds. The term has been in popular use for over a decade and most cities adopt it to identify the founder or current leader.

If the founding mayor steps down and the community survives and is passed on to another user, that user is typically referred to as mayor. This has happened in the case of SW City, where SW Comit relinquished the title of mayor to Syntax in 2002. This also happened more often in the case of Mayor of Rockford which, since 1 September 2010, has been concurrently held by Prime Minister of Palmshire, one of examples being when the Duke of Cypress Hollow was dismissed from office by the King and replaced with Lord Metaville in 2011.
