The America Tower is a skyscraper in Neophyx City in the world America. Since its completion, it has been the tallest building to be built in both Neophyx and America with a height of 280m, presently the maximum height permitted in Neophyx. The tower distinguishes itself by surpassing the overall buildings of the skyline and can easily be seen from all points around the city.
First plans of the tower were designed in spring 2005 in the NC6 Plan but the final version has been designed on June 10th 2010. The America Tower is one of the three office towers composing the Ellioth Square Complex project. The two others being; the tower n.2 being located right next to the America Tower across Alphaway and the tower n.3 located in Fairpoint. Although the project was expected to be completed in June 2010, complications with the importation of the America Tower's pieces forced the construction of the America Tower to be delayed and the tower was completed on July 18th 2010.
As of July 19th 2010, the America tower was already hosting the Top of America, a panoramic floor located on the tower's highest floor open to visitors since July 19th 2010. A panoramic restaurant and offices are also planned to be built in the building.
History
In 2005, the two towers of the Active Worlds Trade center have been demolished as planned in the NC6 Project. The project to rebuild the site has been created to replace the current towers by more developed buildings to enhance the appearance of the area and lower the lag. The structure built in 2003 was composed of two white glass towers that could inspire the real World Trade Center and they were the tallest skycrapers of the city at that time. Following the destruction in march 2005, two towers shaped with temporary material were built to test different design for the future skyscrapers. These structures have been left uncompleted until 2010 when plans for the site have been developed and included in the NC9's tasks list.
In june 2010, the construction of the final project composed of three new towers has started. The customized pieces destinated to build the towers have been designed in Sedan and imported to America.
On June 12th the tower n.2 and n.3. were almost completed while complications during the importation of the America Tower's pieces forced the construction of the America Tower to be delayed.
