Welcome to Active Worlds 3D - EX CAI LIBUR
Version 6.4 was a maintanance release, including many fixes. Major changes and fixes are listed.

Rights to Use

The Community preserves all rights that lead to the software changes of this version 6.4, while all software source remain propriatary at Activeworlds,Inc and PP3D. Activeworlds, Inc's customers, including usage of this software compilation for educational purposes, require an additional registration and new installers.

Build 1532-1539

3 June - 20 June 2018

• Make CEF accepting URLs given without HTTP(S) protocol, for web on top of the viewport using aw_3d for the target.
• Privacy opt-out for "Allow relay my chat to non-privileged bots"
• Fixed AFK status showing the intended way on startup.
• Fixed disk-cache clean up, not touching cef caches, what sometimes eventually lead to CEF failing.
• Fixed web over 3D viewport (aw_3d) for Wine/Mac.
• Enabled disk-cache clean up by installation default.
• The upgrade tool will now download and install the most recent version/build when launched without command line parameters.
• Removed setting for obsolete download limits.
• Set cache setting to default and removed the settings property sheet.
• Extended app-icon customization options.
• Notifications set to V4 on applicable OSs.
• Frame rate limit auto adjust to remember its previous state.
• Improved mover idle for up to 30% performance gain.
• Improved particle emitter performance.

• Updated VLC to 3.0.2
• Enabled more simultaneous popup windows per web instance.
• Added option to keep a certain world on top of list regardless of client count and order.
• Added display of a world's expiration date, if applicable, at the World Features window for CTs.
• Introduced 288 bit random hash for secure web access.
• Increased value range of random generated avatar session numbers.
• Increased max length of a single chat message (from 255 to 510 8bit ASCII chars).
• Various privacy settings default to opt-out on installation.
• Mouse freelook mode enabled by default on installation.
• Precise Move mode enabled by default on installation.
• Ignore Pitch mode disabled by default on installation.
• Classic window layout as default, Tabs docked to left hand side on installation.
• Keyboard layout to Gaming/Laptop on installation.
• Removed references to old file-transfer, use built-in web-based sharing instead.

All of above are features towards version 6.5.

• Preload cache-able audio files, .wav and .mp3, for the media command also. Merging sound/noise and media modules even closer.

• Fixed an issue with media/sound playback, if a media used the exclu=on option or multiple sim media playing were disabled in a world, what eventually led to crashing issues of the media process, if exclusive sound or media were used my a moveable object or entity e.g. a mover.
• Notepad and Search Tabs are controlled by the universe solely, while client settings are ignored.

• Free Public Universe: Enabled notepad tab to auto login to forums, to get around the issue when users forgot the password or email address (checkout troubleshooting on the forums pages). Subsequent forum links will auto login, if an forums account exists.

• Fixed a crashing issue that randomly occured when a model has been already deleted while a physics collision was active. After 2 months of research the issue showed up at Alphaworld LZ finally.
• Fixed a crashing issue when passing a value of less or equal to 1 for the res option of the envi command. Thanks to Rod for pointing it out and providing an example.

• Rollback to VLC SDK version 2.2.8, since version 3.x is still too buggy.
• Apply latest LUA scripts from VLC v3.0.1 to v2.2.8, to support youtube's and other streaming sites' recent web scripts - that is all we really need from VLC.
• Fixed a long-time issue when sound and noise commands stopped working, in case nearby sound and noise commands refered to the same link/source.

• Fixed an issue when the main window got closed, while a docked web window was closed and 'Best GPU support' was selected.
• Fixed an issue when CEF showed a data-link in the URL field while an HTTP-error page was displayed.
