Tower of Terror is a series of rides created by GSK. One of the most advanced rides in ActiveWorlds, Tower of Terror takes place in an abandoned elevator located inside The Hollywood Tower Hotel, an elaborate facade created to house the ride and its operation systems. Since 2013, incarnations have built using cinematic cameras versus movers, collectively referred to as the TX ride system.

With the conclusion of the project in AWRides, Tower of Terror has left the ActiveWorlds universe.
