Utopia refers to a defunct world and its reincarnation in AWTeen. It was a public building world founded by Utopian Monarch and was where Brock and Joe zip created the first Active Worlds television station, UNTV. Brock had discovered a propdump of the world on a 3½-inch floppy disk. With Joe zip's assistance, they restored the error ridden dump into AWTeen on July 21, 2002.
The city proper was not officially founded until June 13, 2010 when Brock who was exploring a list of old teleports and decided to clean up the surrounding area (which had a substantial number of empty lots) and allow others to build there.
