AWEC

AWEC is a defunct organization that used to hold events in Active Worlds. They were also responsible for the AWEC Calendar, which has been defunct for several years and was only recently replaced by the AWPortals Events Calendar despite minor protest from the community.

Talk of renewing AWEC was brought up as a discussion topic during an Active Worlds Town Hall meeting, but rejected after the consensus was reached that smaller, ad-hoc committees for individual events seemed to be a better solution.
