Tabs
The tabs window houses the various informational tabs found in Active Worlds. If the tabs window is not visible, you can enable it by clicking on "Show" in the menu bar and then by checking "Tabs", or by pressing F9 on your keyboard. The tabs that are shown include:
- World list: A list showing all of the worlds running in the current universe, and how many people are in each world
- Contact list: A list of people that you have added to your contact list.
- Telegrams: A list of all the telegrams you have received from other users or that you have sent to other users
- Teleports: A list of your favorite locations within the universe that you have saved for future reference
- Users: This tab provides a list of all users currently logged in. Universe administrators can also see all bots. This option is not enabled in the main Active Worlds universe, however, this tab may exist in other universes.
- The search tab: Universe owners can specify the URL for the universe search tab from the universe attributes dialog to provide customized search features. This option is not enabled in the main Active Worlds universe, however, this tab may exist in other universes.
- Notepad: This tab may contain useful information and is generated by the Universe caretakers.
