AccuTrans 3D provides accurate translation of 3D geometry between the file formats used by many popular modeling programs. Positional and rotational information for the 3D meshes is maintained. Also many material attributes, such as color, index of refraction, reflection, specularity and Phong shading, are transferred between the files. Textures and UV coordinates are supported. The program has been enhanced with additional features to make it more than just a 3D file conversion program.

Aside from the main website, there is also a newsgroup for support at news.andras.net, just do a search for accutrans.

Although you may download a full version for free, it is not free if you decide to continue using it. You can purchase the program for a licensing fee of $20.00, upgrades are currently free!

Here are the terms of download/usage:

The software available for download is the fully working version and not a demo version.
You are allowed one trial period of 30 days.
By downloading the software, you agree to either pay the license fee or delete all copies of the program that are in your possession at the end of the trial period.
The program is fully working for both read and write operations. The program does not drop every Nth polygon, use copy protection or a security module or nag screens or disable write operations or deactivate itself after a fixed number of tries or days.
